Outpatient Counselor

Roxalana Landon, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor III, works as an outpatient counselor at the Mentor office, specializing in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). She began her career at Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers in 2022 as a case manager in the women’s residential treatment program. After earning her BA in Chemical Dependency Counseling from Ohio Christian University, she obtained her CDCA certification in 2022 and transitioned to a counseling role at Oak House in 2023. She is eager to further her education and will begin graduate studies at Cleveland State University in the fall of 2024 to pursue a Master’s of Social Work.

Roxalana values her life experiences and education as her greatest assets. As an alumni of Oak House and passionate about her work, Roxalana expresses gratitude for the opportunity to serve the community through Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers. Roxalana wants others to know that “there is hope and I believe in you”.
